Check Your Items Before Selling

Use the ISBN or EAN printed on each eligible item to check the current purchase price. Newer and more sought-after items generally have a better chance of achieving a good price.

• Sell items with a printed ISBN or EAN number.
• Check books, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray films and video games.
• Compare different editions carefully, since ISBN numbers must match the actual item.
• Remember that paperback editions may often achieve a better price than hardback editions.

Save on Shipping

Orders with a purchase value of at least €15 qualify for free shipping. Buchmaxe provides a parcel label for packages of up to 25 kg, and free DHL collection is also available for eligible orders.

• Check the calculated purchase value before sending your package.
• Combine eligible items in one order to reach the €15 minimum purchase value.
• Pack your items securely in a stable cardboard box.
• Keep the total package weight within the maximum limit of 31.5 kg.

Save Time by Selling in One Order

Buchmaxe allows you to sell multiple items at once for fixed prices. You do not need to describe each item individually or manage several separate sales and shipments.

• Use the ISBN or EAN numbers to create your sales list.
• Sell up to 300 items per order.
• Prepare one package instead of handling multiple individual transactions.
• Use the optional DHL collection service to avoid a trip to the post office.

Avoid Unnecessary Costs

Only include items that meet Buchmaxe’s requirements. Items without an ISBN or EAN number are not purchased, and duplicate copies of the same item are not accepted.

• Do not include items without a printed ISBN or EAN number.
• Do not submit more than one copy of the same item.
• Check that items meet the applicable condition requirements.
• Make sure the package is strong enough for its contents.

Free Return of Rejected Items

If individual items are rejected, you can choose to have them returned to you free of charge. Alternatively, you may choose free recycling or, depending on their condition, donation to a charitable cause.

Get Paid After Inspection

The purchase price is released for payment immediately after Buchmaxe has inspected your delivery. This allows you to turn unwanted media into money without arranging separate sales.
